Popular Models
Breitling has four highly popular models to select
from, all of which have different styles of timepieces
available
Breitling
Navitimer This Breitling model was developed in 1952
and over the years has become a consistent favorite with
pilots. It measures short times and is equipped with a
“navigation computer,” which is a circular slide rule
that handles airborne navigation calculations such as
climbing times and fuel consumption rates. It also has
the ability to convert miles into nautical miles or
kilometers. This model officially represents the
Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, which has
members from the piloting community based all over the
world. The model has also lent its name to a line of
original mechanical chronographs, all of which are
fitted with the Navitimer’s slide rule. The different
styles available are the classic Navitimer, plus the
Navitimer 1952 special, the 1952 Qp, the Chrono-matic,
the Heritage, the Navitimer Breitling Fighters, the
Olympus, the Cosmonaute, the Montbrilliant, the
Montbrilliant Datora, and the Montbrilliant 1903.
Breitling
Windrider The styles in the Windrider collection
have all inherited their styling from the highly popular
Breitling Chronomat. This self-winding chronograph was
developed in conjunction with the Frecce Tricolori,
which is the elite flight team of the Italian Air Force.
Different styles available in this line include the
Wings Automatic, the Crosswind, Crosswind Racing,
Crosswind Special, Headwind, Callisto, Callistino,
Blackbird, and the B-Class.
Breitling
Professional Breitling Hercules 773This
line of Breitling chronographs is tailored to those
working in the aviation profession. The different styles
available include the Emergency, which has a built-in
micro transmitter that broadcasts on 121.5 MHz aircraft
emergency frequency. Other Professional styles available
include the Aerospace, the B-1 and B-2’s, and the
Hercules.
Breitling
Aeromarine The model meets Breitling’s strict
standards for durability on land, at sea, or in the air.
Styles within this model are endowed with “a resolutely
sporty vocation,” and include the Super Avenger, Chrono
Avenger, Chrono Avenger M1, Avenger Seawolf, Chrono
Superocean, Superocean, Chrono Colt Quartz, Colt
Automatic, Colt Quartz, and Colt Oceane.

Movado Master Automatic Gets Design Serious
Published on: Fri, 19 Jun 2009 18:03:45 +0000
The Museum dial of Movado, which has been a great identity icon for the company has also become their crutch, as the dial symbolizes a recognizable “high” end brand, but also firmly sits it as the bottom of the luxury brands. Often considered by many to be the top of the low-end watch brands, Movado [...]
